Designed and sold in the 1950s, the H Stern Sputnik jewelry ring has all the elements of timeless fun, a mix of modern and classic. Two orbs of multi-color gemstones, designed to showcase the range of colored gemstones being produced from Stern’s native Brazilian mines mid-20th Century. But this was the space age and something as fantastically unique became known as “Sputnik” because of its resemblance to the Soviet satellite.

H. Stern Rainbow Collection Earrings
These are stunning vintage 1980s authentic H.Stern mixed gemstone rainbow earrings. The faceted calibre-cut gemstones are large bright and clear, and include, peridot, amethyst, rhodolite garnet, citrine, and topaz.
The earrings measure approximately 21mm by 10.5mm (.80 by .40-inch), feature omega backs, and are marked “750.” and H. Stern Hallmark is on the posts.
